1. Justice Alex Poku Acheampong – Board Chairman

He currently serves as Ghana’s Judicial Secretary and a High Court Judge. He was the former Solicitor Secretary of Aluworks Ghana
Ltd (a listed company on the Ghana Stock Exchange). He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) , obtained from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).


2. Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa – Board Member

Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa is a doctor, pathologist, academic, leader, researcher, social commentator, politician, writer and a “functional engineer”.  He is the Vice Chairman on the Executive Board of the African Population Health Research Centre, serves on the Board of Governors for the ENSIGN – College of Public Health and is the Executive Director of Healthy Ghana

He previously served in the following roles:

  • Board member of the Ghana Prison Service
  • Chairman of the Board of Ghana Healthcare Ltd
  • Chairman of the Board Trust Hospital, Ghana
  • Chairman of the Tobacco Control Task Force in Ghana
  • Consultant Histopathologist and Clinical Director of Pathology in the UK.
  • Director General of the Ghana Health Service
  • President of the Ghana Medical Association and the Commonwealth Medical Association
  • President of the Ghana Skin Foundation
  • Professor and Head of Department of Pathology in the University of Ghana Medical School

Prof. Akosa is a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (FGA), Ghana Medical Association (FGMA), Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath), West African College of Physicians (FWACP) and the Ghana College of Physicians (FGCP). He is also recipient of Ghana’s second highest award, Companion of the Order of the Volta (CV) for public service and to the health sector.


3. Dr. Kobina Quansah – Board Member

Dr. Quansah served as the Managing Director of Barclays Bank Ghana from 1999 to 2004 and has 40 years of experience in the banking industry. He is a Management Consultant by profession.
He previously served in the following roles:

  • Chairman – Barclays Nominee Company
  • Chairman – Committee on Harmonization of Remuneration in the Banking Industry
  • Member – Duke of Edinburgh Commonwealth Study Tour Group
  • Member – Ghana Education Review Committee
  • Member – Governing Council – Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
  • President – Ghana Association of Bankers
  • President – Rotary club of Accra East

Dr. Quansah currently serves as the Board Chairman of Vodafone Ghana and CoreNett Ghana Limited. He is also a director of the following companies; Cal BANK, Unique Insurance Company, Pioneer Aluminum Kitchenware Ltd and Finatrade Foundation. He is also an advisory council member of the Newmont Ghana Gold. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon, and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers with an honorary doctorate degree from University of Development Studies, Ghana and a former student of Achimota School.


4. Prof. Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi – Board Member

Prof. Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi is a chartered accountant and a university lecturer with over 33 years’ experience in education, industry, commerce and public practice in Ghana, Liberia, UK and USA. Prof. holds a PhD in Accounting and a Professional Doctorate in Taxation, MA in accounting Education and an MBA in Information Technology. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana (MCIT (GH)); Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA (UK); Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturing and Commerce, UK (FRSA); and a Certified Fraud Examiner, USA. He is an alumnus of Oxford Business School, Templeton College, University of Oxford (Oxonian Number 10097277) United Kingdom.
Currently, he is the Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Pentecost University College and President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG), Ghana.
He previously served in the following roles:

  • Board Chairman of Atlantic Port Services Ltd
  • Assistant Professor and Chairman of Accounting Department, University of Liberia
  • Chairman of the Education & Training Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana
  • Chairman of the Examinations Committee

  • Deputy Chairman of the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) Business Development Challenge Fund managed by Deloitte and Touche

  • President of the Institute of Directors, Ghana

He is the Board Chairman of Pentecost Hospital and a member of the Board of Milennium Insurance Company of the Jospong Group of Companies and KAAF University College. He is the National Patron of the Association of HND Accountancy Students in Ghana, Chairman of the Koforidua Polytechnic Accountancy Programme Advisory Board and a key consultant to the National Accreditation Board (NAB) on tertiary business education programmes. He has an Honorary Fellowship of the Graduate School of Governance and Leaderships’ Boardroom Institute of Ghana and was the 1976 Queen’s Award Winner in Credit Management (instituted by Sir Kenneth Cork of Institute of Credit Management, UK)


 5. Dr. Kofi Amaniampong – Board Member

Dr. Kofi Amaniampong is a Physician and a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a wealth of worldwide experience spanning over 40 years. He is a co-founder of Jubail Specialist Hospital. He has worked as a general medical and specialist practitioner in Britain, Saudi Arabia and Ghana. He was a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Ghana Medical School. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gyaenecology (FRCOG) and the Fellowship of West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). He also holds memberships in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).


6. Mrs. Maame Efua Sackitey-Williams – Board Member

Mrs. Sackitey-Williams is a Senior Manager in Metropolitan Insurance Company. She serves on the Senior Management team of the company as Head of Corporate Workgroup.
Prior to joining Metropolitan Insurance Company, she worked with Bilfinger and Berger, Ghana Limited for seven years as a Civil Engineer on various projects and served with the Municipal Developmental Collaborative Co. Ltd for a year.
Mrs. Sackitey-Williams has over twelve years experience in the Insurance industry with expertise in Engineering Underwriting and Claims, Risk Management Advisory Services, Preparation of Revenue Budget, Writing Insurance Proposals for Complex Risks and Underwriting Complex Risks.
She trained as a Civil Engineer from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, graduating in 1997.


7. Mrs. Esther Amaniampong – Board Member / Secretary

Mrs. Esther Amaniampong is a co- founder of Jubail Specialist Hospital. She has gathered a wealth of over 38 years’ experience in Management as well as Nursing and Midwifery in both public and private practice.
